What is the typical security deposit?
Security deposits vary by hostel but typically range from ₹5,000 to ₹10,000 (equal to 1-2 months rent). This amount is refundable when you vacate, subject to no damages. Always get a receipt for your deposit.
Are hostels verified by Home2Hostel?
We encourage hostel owners to provide accurate information and photos. However, we recommend students visit the hostel in person before committing. Check reviews, talk to current residents if possible, and verify all amenities.
Can I share a room with my friend?
